Due to the many requests we receive for suggestions and recommendations for places
to stay we thought it would make a good base for visitors to start looking.
It is acknowledged that the visitors over the last four decades have diminished year
by year, many believe because of the advent of the cheaper package holidays, usually abroad.
This has meant that what was a town littered with Hotels, Guest Houses and Bed & Breakfasts, has
seen many sell up for the proverbial blocks of flats. Places to stay are obviously thinner on the ground,
and are opening for less months per year.
The list is generated on a basis of everybody is equal, we make no recommendation,
